On 13 March (Saturday), the Bintan Cultural Festival 2010 will be launched at 4pm at the Reservoir Park. During the launch, be entranced by a host of cultural activities such as traditional dance performances, cultural exhibition, fun quizzes, traditional games… all these while you partake in the delectable line up of Indonesian cuisine at the festival.

Over at Pasar Oleh Oleh, take a snap of yourself in traditional Indonesian costumes, and participate in the Balinese cultural activities and games to understand the Indonesian traditions better.  

For your convenience, complimentary shuttle bus services are available for transfer you from the resort to Reservoir Park and Pasar Oleh Oleh.

Here are some updates on the construction work of our Signature Beachfront restaurant.

Bintan Lagoon Resort will be having more than our very own ferry terminal and ferry service project; we will also be having our signature beachfront restaurant! Named 3 Degrees, it is targeted to start its operation at March 2010.

The restaurant features a large al fresco dining and bar areas facing our beautiful white sandy beach, as well as an air-conditioned area, which allow a seating capacity of up to 398 persons!

3 Degrees Signature Restaurant is located in a standalone building and at 2380 metres, it is planned to be the biggest restaurant on Bintan Island. 

Expect to receive an impressive welcome at the restaurant’s main entrance with a feature wall of ethnic carvings before you enter. After entering, you will unravel the stylish interiors of the restaurant, follow by a walk through the courtyard fountain; it is where our Beach Bar is located.

Now that you know that we will be having the big project on ferry terminal for the resort. Here are some photos on the breakwater and constructions!

Next entry will be another project of our resort, we will be having a BEACHFRONT signature restaurant!

Bintan Lagoon Resort will be having our very own ferry terminal and ferry service! Expected to be in operation by June 2010, this project cost SGD 15 million and has already started works since November 2009. The breakwater’s almost completed.

For our ferry service, it will be made up of a fleet of two catamarans and one VIP boat. Ferry pricing and bookings details will be released at a later date once available, so stay tuned!

When you are about to reach the shores of Bintan Lagoon Resort, you will be greeted by a towering iconic structure which forms the link bridge to the ferry terminal in the resort. Above is the artist impression of the 65-meter long bridge.

 The bridge will feature high ceilings so as to let in the sea breeze for a breezy walk ahead.

The bridge will taper off at the immigration point, forming a screen for secure entry into the building.
